Level 2: Previous paddling experience in conditions with boat traffic, moving water and waves will help you on this trip, and stamina to paddle up to 4 hours, with breaks every hour! You must be comfortable paddling in a straight line, turning and stopping. You must have experience standing-up on your SUP, be comfortable standing for up to 30 minutes at a time and be confident that you won’t fall in when standing. You’re more than welcome to kneel or sit when you need a break! If you’re feeling unsure whether this trip is appropriate for your paddling ability, please reach out!

What should I wear?
Paddling
You can wear a swim suit underneath a base layer (we recommend a short sleeved or long sleeved top). Then pack with you a sweater and a rain jacket. As for bottoms, we recommend wearing a quick dry material of shorts, capris or pants and bringing with you a pair of rain pants. As for your feet, we recommend submersible footwear that you can get wet. You may wish to pack socks to wear on the stand-up paddleboard at night. Please bring with you an extra change of clothes and footwear.
Sauna
Before arriving to your outdoor guided sauna experience, we recommend that you shower first.
We recommend that you wear light breathable clothing or a bathing suit in the sauna.
Light breathable clothing will prevent you from overheating in the sauna. Be sure that the clothing is breathable and won’t stick to your skin and cause irritation if you begin to sweat.
Swimsuits are a great option if you plan on going swimming or taking a shower after your sauna session.
Do you have a change room and washroom on site?
Yes, Camp Wolf Willow has facilities on site.
Do you supply life jackets?
We provide you with the use of a PFD/life jacket and whistle!
Can I still join if I’ve never paddled before?
Even though we recommend previous paddling experience, we can provide you with training that will allow you to feel safe and confident on a stand-up paddleboard!
Do I need to stand for the duration of the paddling adventure?
Absolutely not! You can stand, kneel or sit down for any duration of the paddle!
Can I bring my own paddleboard?
Yes, you can bring your own, just let us know!
