What is your cancellation policy?

Website information is subject to change, including prices, terms and conditions and other information held in physical files. A full refund minus administration fees of 5% will be issued if you cancel more than 48 hours prior to one of our daytime or nighttime experiences and 30 days prior to the trip start date of an overnight paddling or retreat experience. No refund will be issued if you cancel within 48 hours of a daytime or nighttime experience and within 30 days of an overnight paddling or retreat experience.

Any late-comers, or no-shows, may not be rescheduled or refunded. Back2Nature Wellness and Adventures reserves the right to change or modify an experience based on unsafe conditions, weather or group dynamics for the safety of the group. Back2Nature Wellness and Adventures reserves the right to cancel any adventure due to insufficient registrations or unsafe conditions. If Back2Nature Wellness and Adventures cancels a trip, you will receive a full refund or may choose to transfer your payment to a future trip. Back2Nature Wellness and Adventures cannot be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages in any such way.

Deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your scheduled reservation for retreats and overnight experiences and 2 weeks prior to an evening or daytime experience.

What is the level of difficulty for Back2Nature Experiences?

For each of our experiences, you’ll find the level of difficulty listed so that you are able to make an informed decision based on your experience and fitness level. If you have any questions about any of our experiences, we recommend that you reach out to us!

Below, you will find an overview of how we rate our Stand-up Paddleboard Experiences.

SUP Ability Level

Level 1: This experience is open to beginner paddlers. You are welcome to sit for the entire duration of the experience. You must be comfortable paddling in a straight line, turning and stopping. Having taken a stand-up paddleboard lesson previously is recommended if you’re feeling unsure. We offer lessons if you’re feeling like that may be beneficial prior to an experience with Back2Nature!

Level 2: Previous paddling experience in conditions with boat traffic, moving water and waves will help you on this trip, and stamina to paddle up to 4 hours, with breaks every hour! You must be comfortable paddling in a straight line, turning and stopping. You must have experience standing-up on your SUP, be comfortable standing for up to 30 minutes at a time and be confident that you won’t fall in when standing. You’re more than welcome to kneel or sit when you need a break! If you’re feeling unsure whether this trip is appropriate for your paddling ability, please reach out!

Level 3: Intermediate Paddlers – You should understand how to hinge at the waist to increase the power of your stroke and to paddle efficiently, this will help with paddling long distances in varying water conditions. If you’re unsure what this means, please reach out and book a lesson prior to this experience! Previous long distance paddling experience or a previous overnight paddling experience with Back2Nature is recommended prior to this trip. You will have the stamina to paddle up over 10 km, with breaks! As always, you’re welcome to switch between standing, kneeling and sitting on these trips, however, due to the distances that will be covered, we recommend standing for the majority of the paddle for maximum power and glide from each stroke. Breaks will be frequent on these trips to allow for rest. Prior to this trip, you should have experience paddling 2 hours in one trip.

What happens in the event of Inclement Weather?

In the event of inclement weather, an experience or trip may be cancelled due to unsafe conditions. You will receive a full refund if a trip or experience is cancelled due to inclement weather.

What if I have my own SUP?

You will have the option to Bring Your Own SUP (BYOS) on some of our experiences.

Am I required to stand for the duration of a SUP Experience?

With all of our Stand-up Paddleboard Experiences, you are welcome to switch between standing, kneeling and sitting.

What is the weight restriction for your Stand-up Paddleboards?

The weight restriction to safety adventure with us on a stand-up paddleboard is 330lbs.

Are you experiences Accessible?

We have one stand-up paddleboard that can accommodate someone with physical or mental challenges. We utilize the Red Paddle Co. All Ride board and have the ability to outfit it with an adjustable seat. For more information on this board, visit here! Is there a minimum or maximum age for enjoying the Sauna?

We recommend that all ages enjoy the sauna, however, it is best to tune into and listen to your body. Taking the proper precautions is best when enjoying the sauna. Children, elderly, persons with medical conditions or those who are pregnant may not be able to be exposed to the high temperatures in the sauna for the same length as someone else. Please consult with your body or a medical professional.

What is the difference between the Blackstrap Sauna and your Echo Valley Sauna?

Our Sauna at Blackstrap Provincial Park is considered our luxury sauna! This sauna experience includes additional items to create a more luxury experience, including luxury change robes, sauna hats, wet wash clothes and so much more! Our Sauna at Echo Valley Provincial Park is considered our self-led sauna! This sauna experience is for those who are looking for the benefits of sauna without the luxuries of our added items. You’ll still get to experience the most amazing sauna session and you’ll have the option to choose between our public or private session when you book, find out more here!
