Fear of Death

What’s your greatest fear in life? Is it fear of death? A lot of us have this fear, including myself. Will it be painful? Will it be prolonged?

What if death was peaceful? What if death provided clarity and an opening up for the people in your life? What if death provided expansiveness?

My brothers death, almost four years ago, opened me up and provided me with a perspective on life that I’m so grateful for. His death, although sudden, tragic and oh so hard, also provided so much clarity for me and the path I’d like my life to lead. I can see the gift in his death.

How do you know that death for someone is not for their greatest good? How do you know that it won’t provide peace and freedom? We place labels on death and they tend to restrict our thinking and living.

What if we saw death as a gift? What if we shifted our perspective on death from fear to a place of peace and expansiveness?!
