in Narrow Hills Provincial Park
The Unplugged Wilderness Retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise and into a living landscape of renewal. Held in Saskatchewan’s Narrow Hills Provincial Park, this retreat is shaped by a powerful truth: fire moved through here in 2025, and what remains is not only loss, but the beginning of regrowth. New grasses, shrubs, and young trees are already returning, reminding us that life rebuilds from the inside out.
Over a few spacious days, we follow that same rhythm of rebirth. We move with qigong to soften the nervous system and awaken steady energy. We sit in meditation to hear what’s been drowned out by busy life. We explore the lakes by stand up paddleboard, letting water teach us presence, balance, and trust.
Along the way, you’ll be guided through a Whispers of Wisdom Workshop to learn the language of signs, symbols, and messages in nature, and a Heart Spirit Workshop to reconnect with what is true beneath habit, fear, and striving. Astrology is woven in as a map for meaning, timing, and self understanding, so your inner world can meet the outer world with more clarity.
This is for you if you feel stretched thin, overstimulated, or ready for a reset that is both grounded and soulful. Come as you are. Leave with steadier breath, clearer inner knowing, and the felt sense that you, too, can begin again.
What’s Included:
❋ Front Country CampingThe area in which we will be camping was untouched by the fires, however, the surrounding area will be remnant of a past forest fire, allowing for reflection on rebirth.
❋ Morning & Evening PaddlingStart the day on still water and return again as the light softens. These gentle paddles invite presence, balance, and quiet confidence, letting rhythm and breath guide you into the morning and help you unwind into the evening.
❋ Grounding Meditations and QigongSimple, guided meditations to settle your nervous system and bring you back into your body. Expect breath, sensation, and quiet awareness that feels like coming home. Qigong, a slow, nourishing practice to open the body and gather your energy for the day. We move with a lung and heart focus, supporting breath, vitality, emotional ease, and steady inner warmth.
❋ Gem Lakes Paddle A signature paddle on Gem Lakes, where water becomes your mirror and teacher. We move gently, pause often, and let the shoreline and sky recalibrate your inner landscape.
❋ Whisper's of Wisdom WorkshopA guided experience in reading nature’s subtle language. Learn how signs, symbols, and patterns can reflect your subconscious, support your intuition, and offer timely insight.
❋ Heart Spirit Qigong WorkshopA heart-led qigong journey to soften protection and reconnect with what’s true. This workshop supports emotional clarity, inner steadiness, and the courage to live from the heart.

How It Works-
Escape the noise of everyday life and step into the quiet resilience of Narrow Hills Provincial Park, where the boreal forest is moving through a season of rebirth after last year’s fires. Here, renewal is not a concept, it’s something you can feel in the fresh air, the open sky, and the steady return of life on the land. The Unplugged Wilderness Retreat is an immersive experience designed to help you reset and realign through wilderness tenting, stand up paddleboarding, qigong, mindful practices, and soul nourishing time in nature.
During this retreat, you’ll engage in:
Morning qigong practices (with lung and heart focus)
Stand up paddleboarding in the Gem Lakes
Mini astrology readings
Mini massages at camp
Heart Spirit qigong workshop
Releasing exercises
Grounding meditations and mindfulness practices
And more gentle moments of connection and integration
Wake up to birdsong, greet the day with breath and movement, and paddle through the surrounding wilderness with intention. Each offering is designed to bring you back to the present moment, calm the nervous system, and reconnect you with what’s steady within. As the landscape regenerates, you’ll be invited to do the same, letting what’s heavy soften and making space for what wants to grow.
Evenings are spent gathered around the fire, reflecting, sharing, and embracing the simplicity of being unplugged. This retreat is for anyone seeking clarity, renewal, and a deeper connection with nature, whether you’re craving adventure, inner peace, or a true break from the digital world. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, rooted, and gently reoriented toward what matters most.
