What to Expect

This one-day retreat is designed as a gentle inner journey in the outdoors, blending adventure, restoration, and meaningful connection. We begin in Saskatoon and shuttle to Poplar Bluffs, where guests will launch for a guided stand-up paddleboard experience down the South Saskatchewan River toward Saskatoon.

Along the way, we will stop at a secluded sandy beach and settle in for rest, nourishment, and intentional practices. Guests will be guided through Qigong, receive mini-massages by Melissa Jensen, pull oracle cards, enjoy an artisan box by The Prairie Grazer, and spend spacious time immersed in nature and community.

Whether you are craving nervous system support, a reset from mental overload, or a peaceful day with like-minded people, this retreat offers the space to slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself.

No previous Qigong or stand-up paddleboard experience is required, although guests should feel comfortable being on the water for a longer paddle experience.

Your Retreat Journey


We begin by gathering and settling into the day before taking the shuttle to Poplar Bluffs, allowing everyone to arrive and ease into the experience.

Arrive & Ground

From Poplar Bluffs, we launch into a guided stand-up paddleboard experience down the South Saskatchewan River, moving at a supportive pace while taking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Paddle the River

Partway through the journey, we stop at a secluded sandy beach and settle into a spacious retreat experience in nature.

Pause on the Beach

Here, you will be guided through qigong, receive a mini-massage by Melissa Jensen, pull oracle cards, enjoy your artisan box by The Prairie Grazer, and have time to rest, reflect, and connect.

Restore & Reconnect

After our time on the beach, we return to the water and continue paddling toward Saskatoon, carrying the calm and nourishment of the day with us.

    This retreat begins with a shuttle to Poplar Bluffs and ends in Saskatoon.

    Upon signing up, you’ll receive the location to meet in Saskatoon.

  • Suitable for beginner to intermediate paddlers. Guests should be comfortable spending several hours outdoors and on the water.

  • Friday, August 14th from 9am to 5pm

    Friday, August 28th from 9am to 5pm

    Friday, September 11th from 9:30am to 5:30pm

    Friday, September 25th from 9:30am to 5:30pm

  • $366 CAD + tax/person

    Small group experience, limited to 8 people per Retreat.

  • Back2Nature has one accessible paddleboard that can accommodate someone with physical and mental challenges. We also have Access Traxx that allow a wheelchair to access a sandy beach.
