What to Expect

Let’s close out sauna season…
and step into summer together.

After a season of heat, stillness, and deep restoration, this Sauna Beach Party is a way to honour what winter has offered… and gently open into the lighter, more expansive energy of the months ahead.

Join us on the shores of Blackstrap Provincial Park for an evening designed to ground, restore, and awaken your body through the elements.

We’ll begin with a guided Qigong practice (moving meditation) on the sand…
a chance to slow your breath, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with your own rhythm. A moment to arrive fully, before the energy of the evening builds.

From there, you’re invited to move intuitively.

Step into the warmth of three wood-fired saunas, in collaboration with Bridge City Sauna and Boreal Sauna. Let the heat support release and relaxation, honouring the slower pace of the season we’re leaving behind. When you’re ready, immerse yourself in the lake… awakening your senses and inviting in a feeling of renewal.

What’s Included:

❋ Opening Qigong Practice

This guided Qigong practice is a gentle way to arrive in your body and settle your nervous system after the pace of the day. Through slow, intentional movements and conscious breathing, you’ll begin to feel more grounded, present, and connected to your own energy… creating a steady foundation for the evening ahead.

❋ Access to Three Wood-fired Saunas

Step into the warmth of three wood-fired saunas, each offering a space to soften, release, and restore. The heat works its way through the body… relaxing muscles, calming the mind, and inviting a deeper exhale. Move in and out at your own rhythm, allowing the experience to be guided by what your body needs in each moment.

❋ Cold Lake Immersion

The lake offers a natural reset. After the warmth of the sauna, immerse yourself in the cool water… awakening your senses and bringing clarity to your system. This contrast of heat and cold supports circulation, energy flow, and a deep sense of aliveness… often leaving you feeling both calm and invigorated at the same time.

❋ Access to Tiki Bar and Beach Games

Woven throughout the evening are moments of lightness and play. Sip something refreshing from the tiki bar, or gather with others over simple beach games. These spaces offer a chance to connect, laugh, and enjoy the more social, expressive side of the experience… balancing the grounding and restorative elements.

❋ Live Music

As the evening unfolds, music begins to move through the space. A live DJ creates a steady, uplifting rhythm that you can move with or simply receive. Whether you feel like dancing barefoot in the sand or resting by the fire, the music becomes a thread that connects the entire experience.

❋ Closing Sound Bath

We’ll close the evening by coming back inward.
A guided sound bath invites your body into deep rest, allowing the nervous system to settle and integrate the experience. As sound and vibration move through you, there’s space to release, reflect, and soften… leaving you feeling calm, clear, and gently grounded as the night comes to a close.

Your Sauna Beach Party Journey

We begin by arriving into the space with a grounding meditation to help settle the mind, soften the body, and bring awareness into the present moment.

Arrive & Ground

From there, we move into a guided hike through the natural landscape of Eagle Creek, inviting you to slow your pace, connect with the land, and gently open your awareness.

Walk and Awaken the Senses

You will then be guided through a qigong practice to support the flow of energy through the body, regulate the nervous system, and create a greater sense of internal balance before the next stage of the journey.

Move Energy with Qigong

Your horseback riding experience with Misty River Trail Rides offers a unique opportunity to connect with the grounded, intuitive energy of the horse while taking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Ride with Presence

We close with a guided stand up paddleboard tour on Eagle Creek, where you will have the chance to integrate the experience on the water, breathe deeply, and move with the rhythm of the creek.

Paddle into Stillness

Please Note: This itinerary may be modified due to weather and temperatures. This is to accommodate the fluctuations this time of year and the safety of being on the water.

How It Works
  • When we combine mindful movement, nature immersion, and guided outdoor adventure, something begins to shift.

Connected to their body and breath
    Refreshed by time in nature
Recharged through meaningful movement and new experiences

This is more than a retreat filled with activities. It is a guided inner journey in the outdoors.
